Jay Darst's rest stop
We are just finishing up a three-day stop at Jay Darst's place in Illinois, and
wanted to publicly thank him for his generosity. We spent yesterday exploring Springfield and the Lincoln sites, and today we traveled around the nearby Lake Shelbyville. Took Blue Thunder in to the tire dealer next to Jay's dealership to get new rear hub covers put on. Stopped by Iowa80 and bought stainless covers for all six hubs on the way here. Bought 60 SS nut covers from Iowa80, mailorder, about 1-1/2 years ago, but waited until I could do "hand-on" to buy the covers. The mechanic who did the air wrench work asked if I was staying out at Jay's place, and I told him I was; he said he thought he had seen the bus out there, and then wanted to know about the satellite dishes Don Bradner 90 PT40 "Blue Thunder" My location: http://www.bbirdmaps.com/user2.cfm?user=1 |
