Shower Room

Hi All

Have been seriously looking at 81's but finding the room in the shower
is a bit small for me at 6'6" tall and wide.

the question is I know the bathroom changed in 82 and was wondering if
the shower got any bigger when they moved it to the right hand side?

Same question with the drivers seat area. Found the 81 a little
difficult to get in/out. I know the dash changed also. Did the room /
access improve with the changes?

Oh yes, the shower is bigger in my '83, bigger than my '78. It is a
step-down adding extra head room, plus it is wider. One of my major
wants over my older coach.

Oh yea, getting into and out of the dirvers seat is still a pain.
No improvement there.

John,

I am tall, (6'6" same as you) and my previous bird' was an 81 FC33SB. The shower was the worst part

of the whole bus for me. Very cramped!!

Now I'm fulltiming in a 82PT40, with the sinkdown shower.MUCH BETTER!! I can stand fully

without touching, even have room to wash my hair without bending! Very nice.

Now--walking through the coach is a different story.. I had a sore knoggin' for a while! (Till I learned to duck!)
