just a reminder
Since we have quite a few new members, first let me welcome you to our
forum. Second, as you get familiar with the forum let me point you to the Link section where Dennis Nichols has all the messages from the original forum in a very easy to navigate, very fast, archived area. We hope that this service and the others we have will make your membership worthwhile. From the wanderlodgeforum team, Ernie Ekberg-83PT40 in texas |

just a reminder
Thank you for your welcome.
I am perplexed by the amount of rancor and outright belittling of some of the subscribers that has occurred on one of the previous sites that I originally signed up on. I hope we don't run into this on any other site. It really has no place on a community site with common technical goals. That being said, I am looking forward to an interesting exchange of information regarding the technical aspects of Bluebird motorhomes. There is a tremendous amount of information, especially on the older coaches, that we should try to convince Bluebird to place in the public domain and make available online for owner access. Is there any way we can make this happen? I can help on basic electrical issues, but it sure would be nice to have the schematics of ALL of the electrical wiring on the coaches available. The diagrams in the owner's manual do not show a fraction of the detail necessary to troubleshoot a coach problem in some of the systems. Ron:
What year/model do you own? Many of the necessary drawings are in the hands of the members of this forum, and likely we can help you to find the source of your problem if we know what you're driving. As far as the drawings' availability, BlueBird Coachworks still has many of the drawings. This equates to at least hundreds of drawings, many D and C size, and to my knowledge still on vellum and mylar not electronic media. A couple of members of this group have offered to begin the scanning and archiving process for BlueBird Coachworks, but at this point they are content with the system that they have in place for the obsolete prints. - Jeff Miller http://www.wanderlodge.net --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, Ron Sprague wrote: <<snip>> There is a tremendous amount of information, especially on the older coaches, that we should try to convince Bluebird to place in the public domain and make available online for owner access. > > Is there any way we can make this happen?
