To anyone who has info. Well the unthinkable happened. On my way from Waller, Tx. just outside of Houston, Tx. I stopped on I-10 in Beaumont at the Petro Truck stop on the West side of Beaumont. since there is no parking for a 42 footer in the front of the Restaurant area, I parked in one of the 18 wheeler spaces in the rear and went inside to have lunch with my wife. When I parked there was an 18 wheeler on the right or Curb side of me and none on the left or Road side. When I came out there were 18 wheelers on both sides and it was kind of a tight squeeze. I got in and backed very carefully out and didn't touch a thing and was happy that it was going so well. I was on my way to a Cooper reunion in Newton, TX. I arrived there and hooked everything up and got my minivan off the tilt up trailer I was pulling and everything looked good. I never noticed anything wrong. The next day one of my kin folk was looking over my RV and he asked "What happened there?" I said where and he pointed to the road side rear end of my RV and lo and behold there was a big chunk of the rear fiber glass bumper broken off and the road sheet metal had been pushed in slightly and the vent screen was pulled out about 3 inches. White paint was on the sheet metal indicating something white had hit and scraped it . The sheet metal damage appeared to have been hit first and then the driver of the 18 wheeler realized what had happened and tried to back up and caught the fiberglass bumper and broke off about 14 to 18 inches of it. I am asking all of you if you know of a good body shop that is experienced in body work on RV's in or near Houston, TX. Preferably one that is experienced on WanderLodges. I think RandyDupree has the molds or bumpers ????? 352 538 3435. the
fins in the vent are just rested in the track so you may want to
remove the loose ones that may otherwise fall off. Could be that
you hooked the 18 wheeler? you sound too convincing in your
explanation.

538 3435. The vent finns are just resting in the frame so you may
want to remove the frame prior to driving. Could it be that you hit
the 18 wheeler?? your explanation sounds too convincing.

Nope, it wasn't me that hooked an 18 wheeler. The two that were on the sides of me did not have any white paint on them. They were other colors so I know it was not one of them. someone else had been in that road side space next to me and probably moved when they realized they had contacted my coach. If that was an accusation you just made against me I am irritated that you would do that, if not, then accept my apology for misunderstanding. I don't know of anyone in Houston, but I had some rear-quarter fiberglass repair done on my LXi about a year ago after I drug out of a low driveway up to the road. If you're coming up here, I'll be glad to dig it up.

Brad, Where are you located? I haven't even turned this into my insurance company yet and I have to go to Louisiana this week to do some warehouse building work near De Ridder, la. So its going to be a little while before I can move on this repair. Also do you or anyone on here know where factory sheet metal parts can be ordered? The ventilator cover for, I guess it is the oil cooler that is located just ahead of the large ventilated motor cover on the road side rear was hooked and pulled at the bottom out about 3 inches or so. The louvered coverr for the oil cooler was undamaged. Just the sheet metal at the bottom right side was pulled out. It appears that it can be removed, but not completely sure about that Nowadays it costs as much or more sometimes to get to a place to have things repaired. Shame. Brad thanks much for the offer of help with this. Will get back to you if I decide to come up your way. I was hoping to find something closer. PPL in Houston may do body work. Thanks again. Stephen, Thanks for the response. does the entire bumper have to be replaced or can it be repaired. The road side end of that bumper was a clean break about 14 plus inches broken off. Maroon color. What would be the cost for either a replacement or repair. Also do you do the repair work or just sell the parts? Don't recall since I am sort of new on this forum where you are located. Not accusation, just an observation. I look at the backup camera
too much when in a slow turn. Its a bad habbit I'm sure and one I
fear will result in swinging the butt of my bus into a close
obstical.
