Turn Signal Wiring
At the top of our Gen. Fan Compartment there is a 12V panel. In that panel there is marked "RH DIR" and "RH FRONT DIR (WL)", "LH DIR" and "LH FRONT DIR (WL)". The WL isolators are powered the same as the R/L DIR. What is the purpose of the WL isolators? Seems redundent but then it is a BB.

I wondered that too, found these when I was trying to figure out a way

That's exactly where I'm at today, trying to separate the rear turn signals from the rear brake lights.

Curt, wonder if one is to the loom that goes to the trailer plug and
the other for the set that does the bus mounted lights. should be an easy test to prove? Turn Signal Wiring
I spent an entire afternoon studying the blue prints and chasing
wiring trying to figure out a way to do it and came up with zilch. One would think the turn signal circuit would be faily simple, but in reality is has 8 or 10 relays and about a mile of wiring. Take good notes, because if you figure it out, I am going to want to know how. Curt, if you have a electric brake controller, test that the 4 way

Turn Signal Wiring

Curt & Scott,
If you are able to figure something out let us know please. I was not successful when I put the l.e.d.'s on awhile back. I ended up using the yellow lights to replace the back-up lights on the bottom. They are brighter than the old white ones were. Still would rather have the yellows for the turn though.

Sounds good. But, wouldn't you still have the reds coming on during a turn in the rear along with the yellows? And, what about the 4-ways?

Dick, I found this link for a signal-stat controller. the front directional and rear directional are wired independent. front blinkers dont carry thestop signal .thestop signal makes its way into the appliance. you would need one more wire to the rear to carry the brake only signal. unless you have a wire for a brake controller that is not used

Brake and Lighits control to the trailer... Thinking out loud...
I''ve made up a new wire loom (6 wires). It will be installed, and it will run from the front of the coach to the rear of the coach. The brake controller "brake wire" (utilizes wire #1 in the new loom) from the brake controller unit, that is mounted in the drivers area, to the rear of the coach. Loom wires 2, 3, 4 (L, LT, RT) will carry their signal to the rear of the coach as well. At the rear of the coach, loom wires 1, 2, 3, 4 will be wired to a "4 wire to 3 wire" converter. The output side of the converter will be wired to the relay(s) signal (on) pole for the trailer wiring. The relay(s) output pole provide Brake, L, LT, RT.to the 7 pin trailer receptacal.
