Generator slide out question
I have a 84 FC, when I need to slide the generator drawer the main
engine must be started to build air pressure before it will operate. Is this a normal, is the coach leaking air. |

Generator slide out question
Probably normal if your system has bled off all of the air or your air cyl. that pushes the gen tray out is worn out. I had mine rebuilt on our FC. Made a big difference.

Generator slide out question
Dale:
As Dick stated, if the air has bled off, yes you will require air to operate the cylinder.
From this particular tank, all of your air accessories are powered, step, seats, front vents, dump valves, purge valve, and suspension.I think that is it.
If any of these are leaking air, it will be necessary to air up. I have fixed numerous leaks on my coach, my biggest leaker now is the step, which I have purchased new parts for. Bill 84 FC 35 SB "$quanderlodge"Terrace, B.C. Canada
