This past Friday I became a member of THE most exclusive club, the Two
Bird Club. I bought a PT 36 to keep my 31FT Big Napper company. Been looking for something just a little better riding and a little more refined. Drove it home Saturday and Sunday from Beaufort Sc and she currently is in the drive next to the Napper while I transfer goods and materials. Now I can be talked out of the club (cash talks) if anyone is interested. I've got what I think is a great old FC and I'd love to see it go to a newbie or forum member. It deserves a good home. John Heckman central Pa 1973 FC and 1987 PT |

Congrats. on the new Bird John. Was enjoying your search, "as one day I will do the same", but you moved very swiftly. Be sure to put a blanket on that S.C. Bird until it gets accustomed to your cooler Pa. weather. My FC came from Mi. , so it was happy to get closer to its original home. Post some pics. and info. as to what power plant, etc. that it has. Hank,
Do you have a list going of people that would be interested in that (buying and shipping a coach to Austraila)? If so put me on it, and give some details. If it is a serious group I would also propose purchasing John Heckmans 1973 FC. I've been in it, touched it, smelled it, drove it and kicked the tires. It's a nice solid coach! Just a thought. I do not have a list for those interested in buying an old bird and
shipping it to Australia...I will be there for a year starting Saturday...I can coordinate the Aussy end if someone stateside wants to take charge here. Probably cost $15 grand to ship it there after the purchase.........I think we talked about three grand each from 10 birders and someone collecting the money, buying the bird and shipping it to Melbourne or Sydney and then I can handle arrangements from there. Each birder would get to travel in the bird etc. scheduling would have to be worked out etc. Naturally it would be a loose "partnership." I would get third party insurance on the bird and licence it.........approximate annual cost $1500 for both. Be nice to have Ralph as a memeber as he could get the bird ready..Also no reason why two couples couldn't tour OZ at same time..it is a big sleeping bird........ANYWAY that is an idea one year old now without any action. With care, the bird should last a long time..they have CAT dealers in OZ etc. we could keep the bird at my house near Melbourne and I could coordinate the visits and pick birders up at the Melbourne, Australia apt..do not fly to melbourne ,Florida!! Kris has a bird in southern california..be nice if he donated it for price of club membership and then all we would have to pay is shipping etc..lots f ways to skin a cat.......thism is a good chance for you all to tour Australia..a beautiful country about the size odf the USA with only 20 million people...and the ozzzys treat yanks great!!! I have driven around the country twice and up the middle twice...lots to see...I have been swimming with alligators who are afraid but I had to constantly watch out for the SALT CROC'S as they eat people including YANKS! Anyway..why don't some energetic rich organizer get this team of 10 or so off the ground..seems like a great time to buy a bird and ship it to OZ so the 10 caqn tour around...It cost at least $150 a day to rent a small motorhome here.....that is $1500 in 10 days...with the CLUB-10 PLAN, for a couple grand or so one can tour for six months --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "thomas_sorrentino" > > Hank, > > Do you have a list going of people that would be interested in that > (buying and shipping a coach to Austraila)? a gasoline bird could be converted to "autogas" in OZ for $2800 and
autogas is much cheaper the gasoline or diesel in OZ......Jack why dont you donate your bird to the "CLUB -10" as your membership and the other 8 memebers will ship it and I will get it converted to "AUTOGAS" and get it ready for the first "CLUB-10" M memeber to come over........one should schedule a trip of at least 30 days..60 to 90 days would be better..... Anybody intersted in running the USA part of the "CLUB-10" SHOW??? HANK 90sp36 --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "Jack & Donna Smith" > > Hank, A list of the people interested would be nice..
