Air Springs for generator mounts?

Is anyone using small air springs as vibration mounts for their
generator? I am interested in doing this, but don't have the slightest
idea how to determine what I need or how to mount them.

Anyone?

dont forget to calc the airbag movement into the exhaust alignment
and the 300 degree genset environment effect on the rubber bags.

Don't forget to add a auxiliary air pump and some check valves to keep the bags pumped up while you are parked. Otherwise it will rattle around after the air bleeds off and do you no good.

Mini air bags are available from some good equipment trailer sales outfits though it is still hard to beat the rubber Lourde mounts if they are sized right per corner for the weight which is not even on all corners of front to back. Air bags just make it more complex.

Air Springs for generator mounts?
Hey Scott and all

This being my first post. I'll introduce myself as a recent owner of a 89 WLPT
40 with Air
Bag Kohler mounts. I'm at least pretty sure about that. I've tried to post
small JPEG photos
with no luck. I get "file unsupported" any suggestions?

I have photos of the regulator and actual air mount with hoses but no part
numbers. It may
have been an option on a Royale coach, I say that because I had lots of service
done at
CCW this past summer and the tech was not familiar with it. I suspected that I
had airbags
and your post prompted me too investigate further. I still need to spend some
time with
it, to make sure I have the correct air-pressure.

I will post photos and more info as soon as I'm able.....The weather in New
England has
been really bad. Did any one say.......Quartsite
