Propane Tanks
Hi guys
We are staying in a park in Fl that will not let you fill your propane tank at the site. Rather than unhook & go out to have it filled I want to use a 30# bottle. How would be the best way to hook it up? Would you go in to the same regulator on the bulk tank or would it be better to put a regulator on the 30# tank & it in after the tank regulator. If I tap it in after the tank regulator what type of regulator would you use for the 30# bottle? Thanks Don Spithaler 89 SP 36' Butler, PA In New Port Richey, FL |

Propane Tanks
Get an Extend-A-Stay. You can install it yourself. Simple to do.
Camping World sells them. Cost about 40 bucks. We use the Extend on our 5 gal bottle. Fill it about every 5 weeks. Easy to carry and exchange if needed. We haven't filled our 40 gal in 7 years. Filled it last month as someone told me the fill valve might leak if not used once in a while.
