Great Service
Hi Guy's
Last week I had the two diesel's serviced . I used a local mechanic in
the Escondido CA area . Phil from Colegrove Truck Repair 760 497 3518.
I highly recomend Phil for is knowledge and ability . He has a
beautiful mobile repair truck to handle most situations . So I'm ready
for any trip I plan . Where to go ???

Hi Mario

I live in San Marcos also. My personal truck mechanic is Alan Pope. He owns A
B Able
Truck and RV repair, a mobile service. I have used Alan for over 15 years. He
can do most
all mechanical. He is very fair and honest. And when he can't do a service or
repair, he
will say so and not start something he cannot finish.

Rush Truck in Excondido and Dion in San Marcos are 2 local truck repair
facilities. I have
personal experience with Rush Truck (Randy, service manager) but not with Dion.

It is good to have another around.

Thanks

Mario, Two Diesels??? There is a big antique truck swap meet at
delmar next weekend 1500 vendors. Few years back, Tim and I took our
1946 DodgeBrothers 2 1/2ton flatbed seed truck to the show a few
years back and won a working truck class catagory. At the show,
DeversifiedLandscape owner asked if I would sell the truck. Proud to
be the trucks owner I replied "not ant any price". He proved me a
rich liar. That may be a fun event to take the Bus for the weekend.

By Del Mar do you mean the fair grounds or the horsepark? I'm in OB and will be working at a dog agility event at the fair grounds. Hope to find those trucks.
Does anyone know of a mobile service for the house type parts of the couch in San Diego area?

Great Service
Mario, This months big swapp meet is at Qualcomm.
http://www.big3partsexchange.com/
I tried to find a link for truck shows with working truck class but
didnt find one.( I'll call around)

I painted our '46 DodgeBrothers with a two stage paint and stopped
short of a clearcoat when the dull clean finish made the statement I
wanted. The only mods we did to the flathead6 was new plug wires,
turn signal was the origional chain hooked to a reflector, one tail
light, no registration ;tags ;title or ;insurance. Tim trained a
doberman to ride on the flatbed and serve as a clutch man for the pto
driven hydroseed pump.

Our other trucks were(in'88) $50,000.00 cabover MBz's with radio
control clutch off the state of art 30,000.00 Finn seeders.
Registered, Insured,DOT CHP compliant, with BankNotes.

That $400. Dodge and 'FeFe the Doberman'clutchman was all customers
would remember or request. Few would forget Tim also
