Our 88 FC still has an R12 system. The previous owner had BB replace
the compressor about 3 or 4 years ago. It has always worked really well. We are in Mexico and I guess it lost some Freon while in storage. Still cools but not as cold as normal. I can buy a can of R12 at any auto parts store. I have recharged my last MH that had R134 but it was a conventional system. Where do I find the low pressure fitting to add Freon. I see a capped fitting under the doghouse right next to the compressor and it has a hose attached with a hose clamp. I assume that is the low side. Or are there fittings up on the roof?? Any help appreciated and please no environmental lectures. Thanks Bruce 1988FC35 |

The Ozone is One of those situations where a border check wont
protect Americans. Silence when faced with disreguard wont help either. No environmental lecture here. Enjoy the great beaches and Countryside of Beautiful Mexico. Have a tall cool glass of local tap water on me. Greg ofTim&Greg 94ptca --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "birdshill123" > > Our 88 FC still has an R12 system. if this posting was not an environmental sniping based on conjecture
then what is it? the entire scare that the sky is falling and/or ozone depletion resulting from adverse effects of the release of CFCs such as R-12 is bogus in its entirety. There is no empirical evidence that this phenomenon exists. This hoax is based on a flawed mathematical model...... --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "timvasqz" > > The Ozone is One of those situations where a border check wont > protect Americans. Longryder:
I specifically asked that there be no environmental lectures. Why would you not show some courtesy and comply. As for Greg: Unlike many on this forum I like Greg ( and Tim). But Greg you have to understand that we are not all Mensa and often your posts are so far out that no one understands what you are saying, me included. I asked a technical question and would appreciate a technical answer. I had a BIL that was exactly like you. A genius. Graduated as a lawyer but could not get a job as he could not communicate with us common folks. He is now divorced and living on the streets of Toronto eating in soup kitchens. Beware!! Tim: Is Greg taking his meds?? Bruce 1988FC35 |

Yes,
Thank you Al Gore......................
Wrong from the start.
"the sky is falling, the sky is falling, but if you give us millions of $$$$$ it will be ok"
Don't think so
