Airbags, dry-rot
Jim,
First visit to the shop and money spent on, airbags, shocks, front end alignment, and two new steer tires. I agree,"much happier and safer now.", Kurt Horvath 95 PT 42 10AC --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, jim riordan wrote: > > David, > > When in doubt! > > i replaced all of mine much happier and safer now. > jimriordan > 88 wbwl xxv > stuart fl > > --- On Fri, 2/27/09, david brady > > From: david brady > Subject: [WanderlodgeForum] Airbags, dry-rot > To: WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com > Date: Friday, February 27, 2009, 12:37 PM > > > > > > > I was inspecting the coach the other day and noticed > that all my airbags are checked and cracked, similar > to the appearance of a dry-rotted tire. Airbags, dry-rot
Dan,
Could not agree more with you about the air bags. I replaced all of mine when we got the coach back in 2004. Picked the worst one and cut it open- rubber on the outside was cracked and checked. Rubber on the inside was like new! I'm still using pieces of the rubber in various places on the coach for "insulating" vibrating stuff.
