Does any one know about the 93 bird in Piedmont SC listed on Ebay with less than
2 days to go its still at 32K. Prices surely havent dropped that much, have they? Without a history it looks like one whale of a deal john redden 91 PT-40 mooresville nc |

Now is a time for some real bargains from desperate sellers. The problem isn't so much that prices have dropped "that much" as that there is simply no one willing to part with any money. The savings rate in the U.S. has (on a relative basis) "skyrocketed" as people are sitting on their money waiting to see what happens with the economy."Consumer confidence" is only up slightly from its recent low. All of this indicates that "real" prices on many bit ticket items aren't being realized in this market. (There are also some real bargains in the stock market, too.)

They are asking 79.000 on the lot, just about everything he has is a repo.

That coach went for $51,301. Not a bad price. This was one of those auctions
that was fun to watch in the last 10 minutes. A real battle. Bruce 1988FC35 |

Unless there are hidden problems, somebody got a steal. Looks like a
real clean coach to me. -Ryan '86 PT-40 8V92 On Sun, Apr 19, 2009 at 6:45 PM, birdshill123 > > That coach went for $51,301. Not a bad price. This was one of those auctions > that was fun to watch in the last 10 minutes. A real battle. > > Bruce > 1988FC35 |

Sounds like a really good deal. I have purchased vehicles on ebay and have
done OK so far. Always a little leary when I can't inspect it. I tried to call the dealer on Friday but kept getting a busy signal. Hope someone will post if they find out anything more on it. Prices seem to be continuing to fall. Ed Allison Kansas, IL 1985 PT 40-clipped wings lokin for anothern --- In WanderlodgeForum@yahoogroups.com, "birdshill123" wrote: > > That coach went for $51,301.  A suprisingly high number of these sales do not go through when the buyer arrives for one reason or the other. I was looking at a Safari last week that was on it's second round at EBay, sold first at 31K, I noticed this time it went for 25K. I predict that even though the NADA on this coach is 35K the buyer will back out again. I would not pay over 20K for it, it was good mechanically but looked like it might have a history as a fraternity party coach and needs an entirely new interior for the most part.
