Installing roof/ceiling strips

Does anyone have suggestions for installing the strips? I've become a bit reluctant to just pull the old ones out until I have a plan for pushing the new ones in. Jean Eichenlaub San Diego, Ca '87 35' FC

Jean, I just did a bunch of mine. Nothing to it. Pull the old ones down
measure the new one and center it on the center rail which is what holds it up
an push them on. Takes a little force to get them on (or at least mine did)
and I used a rubber mallet to lightly tap them home. If I couldn't get access to
use the business end of the mallet I used the handle to push against the strip.
As far as BB projects go this is an easy one.
