83 35FC fuel transfer pump location

does anyone know the location of the fuel transfer pump located between the tank
and the racor. Is it on the cross menmber or the left rear chassis near the
tank. I was told it was on the frame back at the tank drivers side but can't
locate it.

I had an '81FC and it did not have one, just the fuel lift pump on the engine. Several folks have addeda Facet pump in-line along the framewith good results.

My 84 has one mounted above and just behind the rear axle, about even with the
streetside edge of the fuel tank.
