Gets a person to thinking. I wonder if the actual selling prices will be posted. My guess is the 2009 coach will bring LOW dollars. When that beautiful coach was at Q 2009 there were many repairs and touch-ups needed. But us handy guys fixed some of them, and we can take care the rest. Wished I was in the market for a 2009. I'd take the chance for sure.

I doubt that the auction site will post prices, but hopefully there will be
individuals at both auctions that will give us some idea.

I agree on the 09 - the delamination alone would be a big project to tackle, but
for the right price...

I go to equipment auctions when a project requires a unique piece. In an
audience of 300 it is a great feeling when they point to you and gavel you as
the WINNER. Shortly there after, cognitive dissonance sets in when you realize
' out of 300 people you are the only one willing to pay that for that'. This
might prove to be a luck deal for someone when opportunity meets ability. ie;
you are the owner of a coach builder, live in Ca and have the place and
knowledge to finish and make repairs.

When financing was given to anyone, market value went unrealistically high.
Bidders at auctions picked up things just to park at their shops. Economics is
more realistic now. Most of the audience is sitting on their placards and the
bidders only pick up what they can use. Market value has returned to useful
value.

No doubt that the buying public is more conservative by a long shot. I have been to many auctions of this type and bought and sold many items at them from small construction equipment to Cadillac automobiles and it always amazes me how some people just get caught up in the bidding and forget that they will have to take that item home and pay for it. Many people just leave the auction the quickest way they can and don't return. Thats why in many cases the auctioneers require a minimum deposit to be able to bid. If I can get my brother interested in this auction I might just attend. I could use some of that stainles steel sheet metal. And maybe one or two of those PowerTec generators.
