Replacing ZipDee awning fabric
Replacing the awning fabric is not that difficult. My bird had no awning tube when I bought it so I had to install the tube and awning fabric. Takes two people but nothing complex. You'll have to drill out a few rivets to get the existing fabric off and put some new rivets in the new fabric

Thanks for the posts. I had heard it was difficult but I suppose that's subjective. I'll think about before I make a decision.
