Re, PS compressor for microphor toilet

Jana and all that have the microphor toilet, I recently had to replace my
air/water seperator valve, about $300.00, the small air tank for the toilet was
3/4 full of water, the drain is at the back so you must remove the tank and
compressor to get at the drain. I installed an air presure regulator that has a
water seperator built in, got it from microphor, about #50.00, maintaines 60psi
and removes the water. I set my compressor to cut in at 70psi and off at
100psi,maintaining a constant 60psi. Lee Brown, 94WB40

I don't know if they had different mounting set ups for the toilette compressor but on my 96 I put a small bowl below the air compressor tank and reach behind the tank and open the petcock and it drains into the bowl. It's easy to do from where the compressor is mounted on the compartment wall.

If you installed an air dryer on the compressor you still will have to drain the water out of your pressure tank, the dryer being in the discharge line willseperate the water out of thesupply air but you will still get moiture in the pressure tank.
