All two stroke Detroit Diesels have Blowers. They will not run without
it. Turbo charging depends on the application.

By the way. The 6V's were rated up to 325hp. If someone is telling
you different you had better check the injectors.

As used in the PT models, the 1982 6V92 "red" motor was rated at 300HP. The
1983-1987 6v92 "silver" was rated at 330HP.
