Removed
from our ’87 PT38…

Replaced the
three 13,500 A/C units on our Bird. Two of the A/C units are not worth saving; the
third unit has worked fine for 24 years. 

The three ceiling
assemblies, mechanical, are in good shape and include the heat units; I tested
the heat units about 5 years ago and they worked then; filters are good.

The three exterior
covers are in good condition.  

So,
everything is for FREE when you pay for the packaging and shipping. No charge
for my time. The units are the low profile Dometic 13,500 units, beige color roof
top/ceiling.

Curt, Would be interested in knowing what you used as replacement units. Are they more efficient, quieter, have better heat strips. I am asking because I had some Carrier Air V units in another bus, that worked well for cooling, then I added heat strips, and they did not work as expected. There were low and high speeds, with the high almost nullifying the heat coming out. A low and medium speed would have been much better. The new Dometic low profile 13,500 A/Cs are a bit quieter, no compressor drone, 3 blower settings, push a little more air, no heat strip,

Can I assume you had to change out all the thermostats also? How much trouble
to run the new thermostat cables? Where did you pick up the 12V from?
