Radar Detector Free
Just as a suggestion on electronic such as a radar detector or GPSyou can getany unit up updated by just sending it in for service to the manufacture. Since the unit isoutdated and parts are not available they willsend you a referb unit or a BRAND NEW unit. For a charge.
I sent in a old "fat" Magellan Roadmate GPS unit that needed work. They had a Customer loyalty program and sent me a brand new Roadmate #1475T which had the big screen, thin profile, finger touch screen, PLUS traffic reports for FREE ( no monthly fee) for $139.00 all I had to do was send in my old unit first and the new one came in three days. This traffic report system I have in my 2010 Tahoe and it cost me 3.00 per month if my memory is correct. I used this new GPS and was on a trip from Detroit area to Cleveland, to holland Michigan and back to Detroit area and the damn thing told me were every orange barrel was and where the lane closures were and how long the line of traffic is in front of you, plus it would map a avoidance trip with one button on the screen. I don't do avoidance trips in the Bird..... the 2.5 ton bridge will not cut it on the route and I am sure my insurance company would not have a sense of humor on the subject. Have a GREAT Day everyone and be sure to kiss your Mother this Sunday if you still have her with you., If she is not with you, look to the heavens and throw her a kiss...That is where all mothers are if she is not at your side on Sunday.
