Closet doot latches

On my 96 42' Wanderlodge the latches on the doors to the rear closet need
replacing? Does anyone haave a source for these. I had the manufacturer and
item number on a pad but left it on the desk at the house in Texas. Thanks for

You can get the latchs from Austin Hardware in Elkhart IN 1-800-220-8118

http://www.austin hardware.com. They are very inexpensive and they will ship them.
They carry alot of hardware and latchs, so I will try to find my info from when Iordered a few latchs and e-mail you the info Wednesday.

I have door latch problems with my sliding doors on the closet that is in the bathroom. Did you find a manufacturer and part number. I went to the Austin Hardware site and looked and looked but so far have not found that latch. Does anyone out there have the Bluebird part number and a cross reference to the manufacturer and item number? Hi Mike and Ron, the door and drawer latchs on my 96 PT42 are made by Southco.
Go to http://www.austinhardware.com and on left side of home page pick southco
products, then pick panel door latchs and catchs, then pick push to close
latchs, then look at the picture and choose the one that looks correct, then
pick product list on right side of page. They have many types of these latchs,
the 3 that fit my coach are the C3-810, C3-805, or the C3-803. The back of the
female side of your latch will have a part # and a spring rating on it, my coach
on large cabinet doors has a spring rating of 44N (approx. 10 lb) this would be
the C3-810. On my smaller doors and drawers my catchs have a spring rating of
22N (approx.5 lb), this is a C3-805, or a spring rating of 13N (approx. 3 lb),
this is a C3-803.
Austin Hardware gives great price breaks for buying 10 or more of any item, you
can buy the catch (female side) and the keeper (male side) as a set and if you
order 10 sets it's only $3.72 a set. If you only need the keeper (the male side)
they are $3.48 each but if you buy 10 or more the keepers are only .70 cents a
piece. You can also call get more info and order by phone if you would like and
they are very helpful.

Wayne, This is great information. I am so happy you posted the question about the latches. The bathroom closet is the one I am concerned about. It is very loose already and probably needs to be changed now. In my 1995 WLWB 42' the latches are not push button. They are the rotary type requiring about an half turn or more to lock or unlock.
