I suppose that you and I could create some "snake oil"
consisting ofblue food dye and battery acid and distilled water to "supercharge your battery" for only $29.95 + $8.95 shipping and handling charge and if you call in the next 5 minutes, we will add a second Voltage Fertilizer absolutely FREE!!!
How's that Ernie, think we can sell some??

You bet, Fred-- but since you and I are quite alike- could we sleep at nite selling something that is bogus? I couldn't and I know you could not

You realize that when engineering and legal get involved you'll be back to distilled water?

Some really big alternators that are lightly loaded can not regulate properly so the voltage skyrockets.

Great that the problem is solved. I'd like to se the circuit diagrams to try and learn how a system with no more than 14+ volts available can show 20+ volts on a system volt meter. Fred - maybe your coach has created electrical perpetual motion and solved the world's energy problems? Smile)
