fc newbie questions
hello
i just purchased a 1978 fc32?
after some reading i realize its either a 31 or 33, how do i tell the
difference?
have some questions
the wanderlodge has air ride added and when it turns it seems to lean a lot,is
that normal?
it has a good 3208na, i have a 3208t, is it worth putting the
turbo motor in place of the na?can do work myself.
does this allison have a trans retarder and how does it work?
it only has a 50amp power recepticle with cords to adapt to 110
does this have a 220 curciut built into the system also?
wish there was someone local to show how all the things work!

Dana, The actual measurements of a so called FC 31 isn't exactly 31 feet. Someone told me that my FC31 was called the "State Park" model I think, because there were length restrictions on RV's in some parks, and Bluebird tried to capitalize on that. I would imagine that the 33' and the 35' are not exactly their true measurements either. To find out the length of mine, my brother held a 2x4 up against the front bumper, and I measured as far as my tape measure would go down the side of the bus, around 25' if I remember, then he moved to the rear bumper and I measured to there. Whatever the total of the two measurements was, it was closer to 31' than 33', so we figured that it was 31'. I later verified that it was a 31 footer via two previous owners.
