Need air leaks fixed in brake sys... know anyone or shop that can do this in DFW
My brake tank bleeds off very fast after shut down(red needle). Two shops and
$$$$$$$ I still have same problem. They replaced 2 brake valves and all the
brake lines, I think. I saw where Clyde was out of pocket for a while. Is he the
one that works on Birds in San Antonio?
If you can recommend someone or a shop that can fix this problem I would be
thankful
Thanks in advance

Normally, red needle is steer axle brakes. When mine did that, it was a leaking
drain valve on the tank. Yes, Clyde is the one (near) San Antonio. His shop
would still be a good one even if he isn't there. Seguin Diesel in Seguin.

If it bleeds off very fast can you hear where the air is coming out from? If it is that quick I would say you should be able to narrow down where it is going.
Does the air ride drop lopsided?

Let us know what you find.

Don...I could not hear leaks and evidently the last shop (ABC BUS) couldn't
either, although they did fix a leak on the compressor. They also replaced a
brake valve, but could not fix the fast leak after shutting down. They also told
me the red pressure neddle is brakes and the green is the utility tank,,,I
thougt one was front brake tank and the other was the rear tank...is that right?
Also when I went to pick it up, it was way low in front left. He told me they
saw foam on front left air bag..I have had it do that once by shutting down
without dumping suspension and that's what they had done.

Yes, red and green are brakes, and only brakes. I would guess that someone might
reverse the colors during connection, but standard says red/front, green/rear.

Because the brake system is protected, leaks in something like air bags cannot
produce rapid drop in the brake pressure unless you also have a problem with the
protective one-way valves. So, I would concentrate on the front tank and brake
lines before looking elsewhere.
