We have worn out our 2001 honda crv toad, and must replace it. We tow it 4 down,
without modification. Can anyone help us find a list of vehicles that would have
the same capabilitys? Thanks!

Yes. The FMCA site also had the list when last I looked. I question if is complete however. I have seen people towing Mini Coopers four down but I did not see them on the FMCA list. Is anyone on the forum towing a Mini?

It is a general statement that, with the help of people like Remco
http://www.remcotowing.com/ there is almost no vehicle that can't be towed.

The FMCA compilation generally requires two things: No modifications, and
manufacturer appoved. That means a lot of vehicles you see being towed are not
on the list.

Thank you'all for these quick responses.. we have already thrown out several
models. We will probably stick with the tried and true honda crv. we will start
our search tomarrow. Thanks again folks!

We have been towing an 05 Honda Element since new. No mods needed for 4 down
towing.
The CRV is on the same platform but doesn't have the interior room of the
Element.
We took out the back seats, built a box and it holds everthing we have extra to
carry.

I contacted Mini when I was considering buying one several years ago and they
told me it could not be towed 4 down behind a motorhome. That may have changed
