Bird of the Week location

Bird of the Week location
I'm kind of surprised no one took a guess as to where the Bird of the Week was.
Ron was betting on Ernie to be the first to identify the location.

If you would like your Bird as Bird of the Week, please send in a photo with
information on the Bird, the owner(s) and where the picture was taken.

Thanks,

Its either in Wyoming or Montana. I don't know what entrance Ron and Shirley went in. The Gardner entrance I know quite well.

Hi Ernie- we just left the Gardiner entrance and we're in Missoula right now-there were so many people at Yellowstone we couldn't even get the little motorhome through there easily. We went in for an interview to campground host at Mammoth-I won't work anywhere except the northern part and I'm not even sure about getting into all that anyway. Are you home at Weatherford now or are you somewhere else? By for now-Judy and David

Hi- its good to hear from you. Livingston has the fairgrounds and they have 50 amps if you are around there- 15 bucks a nite. I am
home till Sunday and leave for a coach in Tennessee. From there I go to Germantown, Wi for some work for Mike Hohnstein- then back here
to Texas for work till we go to RATS. Enjoy Montana- best time of year to be away from here. Ernie

Ernie: We were in Teton NP and pulled into a stop at Glacier View. We came
into the park via the south entrance up through Jackson, WY.

It is cooler here and we are having a great time. Left out at 6:00 am this
morning on a photo shoot. We drove 188 miles. Went all the way up to the N.E.
Entrance past the Lamar Valley. Saw a wolf eating on an Elk kill.

Sorry we didn't get to see the Kays.

Hey there- Ron and Shirley,
We just left the Cody area on Saturday and went up to Leavenworth, Washington in the North Cascades-that's a pretty little German town up in the mountains but there were too many people. Those Tetons do have some lovely views-If you hike up into one of the canyons, like Cascade Canyon, you might see some moose. We saw a moose and baby moose on the Bradley Lake trail-just go early so the traffic isn't too bad at the parking lot. I also saw some bears up at Phelps Lake on the trail while they were tearing into dead trees looking for ants.
We're already up at Port Townsend on the coast of Washington State getting ready to start our volunteer job giving tours of the Commandant's Quarters at Fort Worden.
It's so much cooler here now-in the 40's at night We'll be here until October. So glad you're somewhere cooler than Texas too...By for now-Judy and David

Really sorry we missed you. Night before last, we had a low of 41. Warmer
tonight. We will probably head home in a couple of weeks. Going to stop in
Casper to visit a friend. Enjoy you job.

Ron
