Cabella's: WV I-70 exit 10
For info:
There is a relatively new Cabela's at the WV I-70 exit 10. They welcome RV stop overs--abundant parking. It appears that the entire interstate exit was built for the store--own water tower, etc. Quite a complex. Store closes at 9pm. Do a little shopping then hit the rack. Spent the night at the Cabela"s in MI once. That overnight free stop over was $500! Regards, Jim Scoggins 04 M380 Stafford, VA |

Cabella's: WV I-70 exit 10
Jim,
Another one just opened of on 06/30/05 on IH35 at exit 222 with same welcome to RV stop overs. This is between San Antonio and Austin, Texas. I believe I heard it was about 600,000 square feet, but don't quote me on that. Subsidized with $34 million in taxpayer funds plus another $13 mill for the interstate work. Seems that they *ought to* welcome the public to use their parking lot! -- Dennis Nichols '88 WB40 XXV "Priscilla" -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus. Cabela's is nicking the taxpayers $48 million for that store plus another $40 million for the Fort Worth store. -- Dennis Nichols '88 WB40 XXV "Priscilla" -- No virus found in this outgoing message. How are the taxpayers paying $48 million for Cabela's store in Texas.
This sounds like information worth knowing. We have stayed at Cabela's in Sydney, NE several times. It always costs more than a campground.
