[attachment=1876][attachment=1875]It had a stream of fluid coming out of the shaft, I thought it would be better to install a new one so it might last another 178,000 miles. Since the removal took 6 1/2 hours of shop time, I didn't want to do it again, if a new seal failed prematurely. I will save the old and maybe put in a seal kit.

I'm thinking of replacing the fan motor control valve, if these fail will it shut the fan down?
