Inverter Remote Control
On Monday I bought a Trace RV 2012 Inverter/Charger on E-Bay. I'm now looking
for a source for a remote switch/panel that won't brake me.
A little off subject but Ray Horn is now with Bleakly in Atlanta.

For any repairs or questions you might want to contact George Morris, who was
with Wanderlodge for 25yrs. repairing coaches. He knows all systems and can
save U $$$.

I am definitely not an expert on this subject. I have heard that
some have dedicate/utilize the 30 amp curcuit as a inverter 12v/110v
curcuit. But I have not tackled this effort yet.

I think (and I don't remember how I got this idea.) this approach
activates the 30 amp curcuit in your bus when you turn the power
switch that has the choices to the 30 AMP option. My
OFF/GEN/50AMP/30AMP switch is inside the front door under the
Dinette and can be reach by opening the door without getting into my
coach. I believe the idea involve running a power line from the new
inverter which gets power from the battery to the curcuit board that
is located in my Bedroom closet.

Note1: I use the 50AMP setting for anytime I connect to shore power
even if shore power is limited to 30 amp uing a adaptor that
connects 30 amp to my 50 amp.

Note2: I believe that 30AMP setting only supplies power to some of
the 110V outlets in my coach and the inverter will supply a limited
amount of power. My plan to just use my Notebook on this curcuit
when traveling.

That is the extent of my bit of wisdom on this subject. Not even
sure if this would really work.

FWIW, George Moris has decided to also go to work for Bleakley in
Umatilla starting on Tuesday. I managed to get him to make repairs on
my coach the last two days. If you want to talk to him now, either
call Bleakley or find him at home in the evenings.

P.S. Got the chance to talk to John Stiles in "My Navion". Wonderful guy.
