The question inquiring minds want to know is, why didn't you purchase this coach
for the advertised price of $25000?

From where I stand "Jim" you give no reason to believe you. No location or real
name in your signature. Some of us old school folks don't pay that much
attention to those who hide behind anonominity. I have purchased two FC 35s
online, both transactions worked well, but of course I actually had the money.

I tried to buy the bus directly from him. I can't remember exactly
what day, but it was the same day that some one posted about it
here. That's how I became aware of it.

Paul Davis told me that I had to bid on the bus on e-bay, he said
that was the only way it could be purchased.

In retrospect, the selling price he listed on his web site was bogus
as well. The bus was never actually offered for sale at 25K. That
was the starting bid price. Amazing, isn't it?

Re: Paul Davis Auction:
I looked at the bus in person, it was very nice, I
decided not to buy it because it is not a Turbo. I
spent the entire day there.

Paul offered to sell it to me on a buy it now price.

Paul and all were very nice and honest. I trust him.

I have much ebay experience, and know this auction was
honest.

I feel I should have bought that bus, needed a few
things but such nice condition.

That's exactly what I expected had happened here. When I talked to
Paul Davis there was no 'Buy It Now Price' Believe me I know
because I tried to negociate one with him. I talked to him when he
first got the bus. As time went on, and after the auction started,
some body offerd Paul Davis a price he could not say no to.

He wasted the time of everyone that was bidding on the bus. Paul
Davis told me one thing and then did another. The fact that he
tried to sell it to you proves my point.

No biggie for me. I learned a lot here for cheap. All that Paul
Davis did was waste my time because of his dishonesty. He will
never get a shot at any of my money.

If you go to the completed item on e-bay and click on the "bids" you
will see that you actually were outbid twice at the end of the
auction. I also see that enzofan bid earlier in the auction. I
don't see any fraud here. What I see is a classis case of what E-
BAY calls "sniping". Those are last second bidders, not last
minute, last second. I know that if I find an item I really want I
bid as late as I possibly can. I know that it feels bad to be
outbid at the last second, but it is totally legal according to e-
bay rules. Sometimes you win, somtimes you lose.

I don't care what you are reading on e-bay. The fact of the matter
is that my bid of 28,100 was the last bid registerd, at the actual
time the auction was taking place. The clock ran out and NO other
bids were shown. The next thing I see is that I was out bid.

Well, that's not an auction, folks. It may be something, but in no
way does that resemble an auction. What kind of non-sense is it
when I do not even see the winning bid made? And then, do not get a
chance to bid again?

I was there. I know what happened.

We now have another member who has posted that Davis tried to sell
the bus out right, after he put it up for auction, and told me that
there was not going to be any buy it now deals.

This man lied to me, directly. I think it's pretty obvious to
anyone at this point what really happened here.

This thing was a complete hoax, but feel free to 'believe' anything
you like.

Paul Davis '82 FC35 auction on e-bay a hoax !!
Jim,
While I have not purchased from Paul Davis, he is an honest
business person. I looked for my bird for 1.5 years. During the
quest, I talked to Paul about one of his units. His response, come
spend a night, do an inspection if you are not happy with condition
either they will fix or you are not obligated to purchase.

Looking at the auction, if you are not

enzofan ( 28) US $29,101.00

you are wasting this groups time. If I owned a bird for sale and
listed it on auction, and some offered me what I wanted for the unit
and the auction price was lower, I would immediately end the auction
after I received money in hand.

You are upset because he did not accept your offer. Unless you are
the above bidder, you lost the bid. Please move on and stop trying
to cause this honest business person unwarrantied grief. Next time,
you plan on bidding, put the max you want to pay. If you win great,
if you don't, you did not break the bank!

Look, I can only report here what actually happened between myself
and Paul Davis. The man lied to me and wasted my time. What can I
say? I'm glad you had a better experience, but I certainly did
not. I would never consider doing business with anyone who has lied
to me in a previous matter, would you?
