At What Fuel Tank Level will the Generator stop?

Howdy, Y'all.
We are still running our genny for power down here in SE FL. It is a PowerTech,
15 KW genset. Does anyone know at what fuel tank level the genset will stop?
i.e., tank 1/2 full, tank 1/4 full?

My 93 has been down to about 35 gal. and the generator still had not
stoped. I know this since I put in 265 gal. to fill it. My American
Tradition with 100 gal tank shuts off with about 20 gals still in the
tank. Please post if you find cut off point.

I wouldn't rely on 35 gallons as the cut-off. It depends on how
level you are. If the front is low at all, you might get cut at as
much as 65 to 70 gallons. I would allow some reserve capacity for a
safety factor.

Well, Ron, the tank gauge shows just above the 3/4 mark. Florida
Flicker Power and Light is saying no power until November 8. That is
why I posted this thread. Hmmm. Thanks for the reply. And the coach is
level.

O.K. then. You have another problem. Since you have been running
quite a bit, go out to the generator on the passenger side where you
will find a small T-handle valve on the injection pump. Screw it in
till it stops and then back it off about 3/4 of a turn. It is a
bleed screw to bleed off air back to the tank. If it is open more
than that, chances are, that is the problem.

Check to make sure the fuel pump is running. It is electric and
mounted on the same side of the engine. This pump has a screen in
it that is accessed from the bottom. Check this only if you find
that the pump is running.

Also, if you have a backed out bleed screw, make sure you tighten
the lock nut after re-adjusting.
