Does anyone have the inside height dimensions for the storage bays? Is
there one with a greater height?

I'm looking at the possibility of having to install a wheelchair and
storage lift, probably a Harmar like this one on eBay: Item
5637491431

Thanks!

Iwould talk to the people at Bluebird. They have a lot of experience
installing lifts and handicap appliances on various buses and coaches

I have seen and be in the Newell at Mr. Olivers and it is mobility impaired
equipped and seemed, on casual inspection, to be in good condition. The only
thing that I now recall about it is that it had a lift in the shower; I'm sure
theres much more.

If you plan on modifying a coach like a bird or Newell you should
contact the factory. The sides of these coaches act as a truss
inplace of frame rails. Stephen B gives good advice because the
engineering has been done and replocating a proven retrofit is less
expensive then cutting a critical structural component. Even
replacing two side by side windows with one large window can cause a
structure failure. I am sorry you have a need for a modified coach
but happy that there are many modifications on the market that make
things accesable.
