TV in Bay?

Merry Christmas to everyone.

Anyone ever installed a TV in one of the FC bays? I have found a
perfectly-sized TV for the bay just in front of the entry door if I can
get the wiring down there. Any advice on how to do that?

Scott,
I wired our PT curb side forward bay to have satellite, shore and
antenna TV reception. Also installed a car radio/CD player, DVD player,
satellite radio, speakers.

TV...I installed powered signal boosters (one in and 4 out, Radio Shack)
for the TV source, and a three way (using it as 3 in, 1 out, Radio
Shack) non powered splitter in the bay. Locate your coax TV cable, split
it, put fittings on the ends, connect the SOURCE end to the IN
connection of the signal booster, connect the other to one of the OUT
connections. Your existing TV should now work as it did before, maybe
better with the powered booster. Find a 12v source to power the booster
and install a 12V switch to turn on-off the splitter. For the BAY
cable, find a path to run from a booster OUT connection down to the bay.

The powered booster cleared up the slightly snowy TV reception in the
coach and bay (3 TVs). You may not need the powered booster(s)...can be
added later if needed.

Finding a path for the cables was interesting. On the drivers side in
the PT there are drawers next to the cabinets under the sink. I removed
the drawers. Using a fish tape, I was able to pull the coax cable from
the electrical run-way at the back of the upper cupboards, down behind
the drawers. I found room to drill a hole through the floor under the
sink and near the outside wall. Had to drill down through the bay top
too. I then drilled a hole in that bay forward end wall. Also drilled a
hole in the curb side bay end wall, the bay that the TV goes in. The
coax cables were pulled through this path. Had to tie up or hang the
cables between the bays using zip ties.

There was factory installed 12V in our TV bay. You will need to install
12V and/or 120V, and install on-off switches. I purchased an Inverter
for the bay and it powers the TV, no 120V in the bay.

This took about 2 days, but I ran 3 TV sources to the bay.
