Let there be light
Hello everyone
There are so many light bulbs in this world, which ones do we need? We're trying to find replacements for the spotlights beneath the overhead cabinets. Ours say Jensen 12V20W. Camping world has 12V bulbs that look like ours but they're longer and more round. Will they fit? Is there a secret here? Thanks for all your help â and may your year be filled with good health, joy, and peace of mind. Pen Sand & Jim O'Connor '83 PT35 Benson AZ |

Pen & Jim,
John & Bard Ely have an 86PT. John uses a tail light bulb in his overhead aircraft style lights. You need to look directly into the fixture to be able to see that he's not using the original bulb. Hopefully John will chime in with the bulb number. Bill & Rita in Roanoke, VA (47 & clear) 1987 FC-35 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

I think you will find that is an 1156. The flood light bulbs are
available at many RV stores. I just picked up a couple and the only marking is "12V5CP" George Lowry '95 WBDA 4203 Spearfish, SD Enjoying the warmth of Indio, CA racin41@... wrote: >Pen & Jim, > >John & Bard Ely have an 86PT. The aircraft style light units use industry #1139IF
The suffix IF designates "inside frosted". They can be picked up at a parts store, although an RV store should also have them. Fred & Jeanne Hulse Morristown Arizona 1997 Wanderlodge PT41 |

The origional bulb Nr. is 1141 and is a bulb that does not burn as hot as a 1156
which is a tail light bulb and is a high watt bulb and run hot and will burn you light lens. The 1141 bulb is available a Camping World. Have not had good luck finding them at auto part stores. When I find them I buy a box. Byrne Lobdell 1977 35FC Folsom La Jim & Pen Thanks, we picked them up at Camping World and they work fine.
