leveling jack question
Hi
I crack a fitting that goes into the top of the rear leveling jack, ( do ask it
is a long story)
i removed the bad fitting. got a new one my question is do i fill the jack with
fluid or how do I
bleed the air out? or do I ?
if you are wondering I had a peice of railroad tie I have used for over a year
to dispurse the
weight & the dam thing split sending the jack forward! what a noise glad I
wasn't under the
bird,,, another lesson learned

I believe it calls for Dextron II (now III) ATF fluid, not power steering
fluid. That's what I've been using....

no bleeding. activate the jack normally. it will take a minute for the
system to replace the air with power steering fluid, but when it does, your
done.

In my experience power steering fluid equals ATF.
