Went to get registered today- No go

[Mike Meister]

I went to get registered today with title in hand,everything went well
until he needed the VIN number on the BB. We spent close to an hour
without any luck...

I'm sure there is one somewhere?

Mike,

It should be above the dash - above the drivers head beside the cab A/C vent.
You have to stand on your head to see it better yet, use a mirror and read it
backwards; or better yet - snap a picture with your dig. camera and print it.
At least that was where it was on my old 81-FC. Good Luck,

I'll take another look. We were inside and outside (under that thing
in the rain for 1/2 hour)

I felt sorry for the guy, he kept asking where's this, where's
that... I said I don't know I just bought the thing 3 weeks ago!
