Here's an interesting document we have in our Document Library: Document Library->Theory->Detroit 8V92 Section 05 Cooling System.pdf. Section 5.3 page 3 describes the function of the Bypass Orifice Washer which seems to be an endless source of fascinating discussion. Smile
