Virginia Rally

Hello All,
In speaking with a few other bird owners, I've found some interest in
having a Blue Bird rally in VA. I found a campsite at Grey's Point, VA
that will accommodate big rigs, has 50 AMP sites and welcomes groups.
There are some small towns nearby with antique stores and restaurants
wtih great Chesapeake Bay cooking. October is a beautiful month on the
Bay. If there is anyone interested, please respond here or contact me
at (sfedeli3@...). I'll be in that area of VA in the next two
weeks and if there is sufficient interest, will get pamphlets and
further details on the accomodations. It would be about 90 minutes NE
of Richmond, VA. Was thinking of the first or second weekend in
October.

around the second week of Oct in Virginia. This might fit in with our plans
and I was wondering if there is any other info or point of contact for this
possible rally

I made the post just to see if there was an interest. Looks like
there are 6 members that would like to do it. Here is the web address
for the camp: www dot greyspointcamp dot com. One member has stayed
there with favorable comments. Looks like a clean place, and they are
fine with groups. I'll be down that way on business later this month
and will make reservations. Looks like the dates will be October 7-10

Thanks for taking the initiative and putting this together.
For once, a rally I can attend that doesn't cost $500+!
I'll be there on Sat (10/8) and Sun (10/9).

Hi Rod,

Glad you can make it. Campground looks like a really nice place. I
reserved a block of 10 sites, but each member will need to call and
make a reservation. You can speak with Mary (the manager) at 804-758-
2485. Sites are $29 a night with 50 Amp full hookups. Be sure to
tell them that you are with the "Blue Birds" and she'll know why you
are calling.
