Greetings all Wanderlodge lovers,
Just a quick note to say hello. I have always loved the Wanderlodges and
plan to own one myself someday. We are a family of four who have
full-timed since July of 2004, currently doing a workamper gig managing an
RV Park in Mojave, CA. We just drool anytime a Wanderlodge pulls in for
the night.
If your ever in the area please drop by. You will be more than welcome.
The park is WiFi enabled for your Internet needs. I am also a StarBand
installer if you need help with your system, I would be happy to help.
This may sound like a commercial but is not intended to. Just sharing my
passions. My all your travels be safe.
Mike Parker and family

Welcome to "our world"...I bought our FC about 2.5 years ago, I was
fortunate to get a coach that had been very well maintained and came
with the "blue box" with all the manuals. Those books, the various BB
forums, and a little prior RV and boat experience have helped me fix a
few things, but overall, you will find the BB to be well made and
designed.

My family loves the coach, and we use it often...big trips, short
trips, even day trips! Regular use in my opinion translates into your
best value...letting it sit is a waste of money and if you use it, you
keep on top of mechanical issues.

Advice: 1: if possible, get bus pre-buy inspected by someone who knows
BB. With or without, plan on a full day going over the bus and all
systems. 2: Tires over 5+ years are questionable on age alone, 7+ is
suicide, forget mileage on the tires. 3: have a reserve fund, things
will pop up on any coach, new, or 20 years old. 4: There are good
FC's out there, look at the good coaches; the neglected ones are
likely "time and money" pits, no matter what the price.
