4th PNW Bird retreat is this weekend!
Hello, all--

The 4th Pacific Northwest Bird Retreat is this coming weekend in Hoodsport, WA
(officially Sept. 29-Oct. 2; many will be staying until Oct. 3)! Same weekend as
the local "OysterFest" celebration (quite something I'm told by those who've
attended previous fests: West Coast National Oyster-Shucking Contest, Washington
State Seafood Fair, live music on multiple stages, and arts and crafts)!

We're holding at a lucky 13 Birds for the retreat. Lamentably, it looks like
we've lost one of our '83 FC 35s to electrical problems that possibly can't be
repaired by Friday, but just last night, gained another Bird at the last minute.
It makes the range of Birds represented all the way from '76-'96. . .20 years of
Blue Bird tradition--should make for a fun, diverse, interesting coach tour!

If you want in on the fun, there's still time!

The campground has been kind enough to hold open a 14th slot for us along the
waterfront campground overlooking beautiful Hood Canal. If you'd like to join
all these fine Blue Birder folks, please let me know ASAP!

If you missed the details, please see my original posting on this forum, or
e-mail me off-list, and I'll be glad to send that information to you.

Please post lots of pictures for those of us who have to miss it :-( That
way we can at least enjoy it vicariously through the pictures until we can
attend one live and in person.

4th PNW Bird retreat is this weekend!
Hi, Ken and Patti (and all)--

You got it! We'll try to get a lot of photos. Meantime, in case you missed them
from a previous post, here's links to two "4th PNW preview" photo albums we
posted on the forum awhile ago:

Preview+2&.src=gr&.order=&.view=t&.done=http%3a//briefcase.yahoo.com/

The PNW group is hopefully going to keep on with a tradition of at least 4
retreats a year, so maybe we'll be able to meet up with you folks and shake your
hands in the coming new year!
