Electric heater repair
Hi group,

I'm going to pull the kitchen and living room electric heaters out for
repair....can anyone tell me who I can send them to to be checked out?
Are these still made? If so by whom?
Thanks.

Electric heater repair
If they are the standard BB electric boost heaters,
they have a thermistor/breaker which can be resetk,
and they may have tripped due to accumulated dirt.
You may be able to vacuum them well, without removal
and opening of the case, and then reset the breaker
with a long punch inserted from the front.

Electric heater repair
Bob: I'm not sure they are still manufactured. I replaced a
resistor, I think, in one of mine and cleaned them. They are still
working fine as far as I know. They are in Ernie's coach. What
seems to be the problem with them? They are very simple and could
be clogged up with hair, etc.. Do you have animals?

They both work although the front one under the couch you have to
turn it all the way on for it to come on and then it stays on only a
min. or two...the kitchen one has a bent thermostat..still works but
very loose when you turn the knob.
I've pulled the back heater and cleaned it as hair from our 3 cats
clogged it up. Haven't used the kitchen or front heater much because
I don't trust them to work properly.
Any thoughts?

Electric heater repair
my electric heaters work fine, with the exception of the bathroom heaterr.
Last year Ralph was adjusting one of those and maybe we can do mine at the
Boerne rally- that is if we get my turbo seal fixed. ernie 83 pt 40 in texas
