leaning coach and air problems
Some of you remember the problems I had with a leaning coach while up in
Washington DC two years ago; first I replaced the air governor on the Bendix
compressor (twice); and then the compressor itself.

David the guy that helped me said he could not believe 1) the complicity of
the air system Blue Bird put in 2) the amount of copper tubing used.

A leaning coach could very well be the height adjuster, however, a stopped
up "pilot control valve" (which was the fault on mine) will give you the same
symptoms I believe. Each height adjuster has a pilot control valve in line
with it I believe. When I took mine apart they (having taken two apart)were
incredibly filthy inside( sand, grit, oil residue, and gunk). The good news
is, they probably do not need replacing necessarily, whereas they come
completely apart, and if the diaphragm is intact, everything else can be
cleaned up
with brake cleaner, including the felt breather/filter.

I have a complete schematic for my air system, and even with it, it is a
nightmare to trace things under neath. But each time I do it gets easier.

Good luck with it.
