Vlv check
Could someone give me an idea of what kind of time frame It would take
to remove the radiator and bumper to get to the engine? I have
experience with heavy tooling so I do understand that this does
require a certain amount of mechanical savvy.

Jon, When I owned the '81 FC31 I had to remove the radiator several times, at
home and out in the desert . My recollection is that it took me about 2 hours
to get to the front of the engine and about the same time to reverse the
process. I got quite good at it eventually. I did not have a swing radiator.
It wasn't particularly a hard job either. I learned that I needed a big tub to
catch the coolant and a small marine bilge pump and hose to put it back. The
radiator is heavy and My wife helped when it came time to actually remove it or
put it back in.

Hope this helps.
