Patterns for doghouse insulation
I installed insulation in the doghouse top of my 82 FC35 today. I
made patterns first and then cut out sections of heavy foam, foil and
a heavy layer and glued them in. I'm going to throw away the patterns
unless someone wants to use them to cut out insulation for the
doghouse. The patterns are not perfect but they are close. If you
want them, PM me and I'll drop them in the mail to you. It'll save you
45 minutes of pattern making. There are four pieces, front, back, and
two small pieces for the indentation on the driver's side.

I'll do the left side tomorrow when I reinstall the top. The right
is tighter, requiring the removal of the oil fill mechanism so I think
I'll wait on that. It had been reinsulated in the past with poor
quality foil covered matting of some kind. It was gone on most of the
top, but is still in place on the sides.
