Currently I am not, but I looked at pricing for B20, and in most cases
it is the same price as petro, and in a few cases more. So not worth
the effort unless you want to use it to help the envrionment.

Have been thinking about build a small BIO-processor and mixing 50/50
in the coach and truck.

Michael,
I can help you out. I would recommend a 50 gallon processor. I
have my last setup for sale.. 750.00 and I can show you how to use
it. If you want to do you own that is not a problem. I will gladly
help you out.

Hi Al - If Michael does not buy your kit I might. We were planning to start or
join a biodiesel co-op early next year. Regardless would like to talk to you
about your experience.

Thanks!

Yeah, we'd have to get on the road today, cause it's a long way from San Diego!
Anyway, we're not coming... I'll have to entice Al to share his knowledge some
other way. Thanks for the note though!

Yes, I knew you were on the west coast, but I just assumed that you

I'm quite interested in this subject as well. In fact, I found a
source for waste oil last week who can provide me with ~20 gallons a
week - my first 20 gallons is here in jugs and now I need to do
something with it.

Al, someone told me it's a bad idea to run bio in any concentration
below 50 degrees. That true?

Hi Ryan, there is a guy in Goldendale that sells home bio-diesel units.
Can't remember all the specifics, but I did talk to him, about $3000.
(FYI) Tri City Railway is just completing a bio-diesel facility in
Richland at the old Hanford bus barn on Stevens.

I am compelled to remind those that are intrigued by the notion of free or
greatly discounted fuel supply of some of the realities. It should be noted
that those who greatly discount their labor will be satisfied with such a part
time job. Make no mistake, manufacture of Bio fuel from used material is a
serious undertaking that requires dedicated covered floor space for the
processes, storage of various materials required and the responsible disposal of
the waste byproducts of the activity. I have visited a few small "processors"
in the past, and I have been appalled at the mess.
House keeping is a large part of the challenge related to the bio fuel process,
be mindful of that.
