flat towing volkswagaon new beetle (05 or 06)
Does anyone know if you can flat tow a vw beetle (05 or 06)with a 5
spd. transmission.

Dan Jensen was towing one at the Lone Star Bird Rally in Kerrville.

Did you find your transmission problem yet?

No, i have not been able to get into gear yet. I have order a sending
unit from Blue Bird that they hope will fix the problem. Should be
here tomorrow. I have checked grounds, batteries,fluids,everything i
can. If you have anymore ideas let me know.

Ralph and Mike, Thanks for the reply to my question. I have talked to
VW and they are not very helpful in answering my question. They keep
jumping around and will not give me a direct answer.

I tow a 2001 beetle tdl diesel. works great.only prob
I have is all i can see in the rearview is the tip of
the ant. I just turn on the back up camera every once
in a while to be sure its still there. tow with a
roadmaster tow bar

Put an orange ball on the antenna. If it starts wagging or moves to
one side, you've got a flat on the toad.
