air brake air supply 1990 wb40
hi all
can anyone tell me if you push in on the air brake parking release
dose your air meter drop some what steady when its not running???
is this normal??
I HAD WORK DONE ON HER
OIL PAN GASKET CHANGED AND FOR SOME REASON NOW IT TAKES LONGER FOR THE
AIR BRAKES TO RELEASE THE SPRING BRAKES
STRANGE SO NOW IM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT IF I HAVE A LEAK IN IT

Yes, to release the parking brake, depress the brake treadle and push the release knob in. In doing so, the red and white needle will drop some with or without the engine running assuming there is air in the system.

Dose anyone Feel
if they lifted up the rv with the levelers to high when they were
changing the oil pan gasket it could of done somthing to the air
spring bags
This is one of those things when you try to fix somthing and go to the
people to fix it and you come out with a basket of crap
anyway what are you gonna do.
I KNOW I KNOW FIX IT


ps. how high can you lift the bus with the levelers???

yes but only when the bag was in bad shape and need of a replacement
anyway. When I lift to service with the HWH levelers, I always block
the frame with wood

On my LXi, the shocks will hold the axle when fully extended

eliminating load on the airbags. I spoke with Koni at some point

and they reassured me that each shock can withstand a static

load of 8800 lbs. The frame and suspension on the WB's is

essentially the same as the LXi's, your bus should share this

characteristic.
