Thanks. I flipped the breakers a couple of times. I'll look for the
other switches.

Kerry,

On my '82 FC35RB 'Bird the airconditioner wall switches are located
next to the driver s seat, you can see them in this photo;

http://www.pbase.com/iamflagman/image/34374169

Here is what I have listed that I used on my Perkins, for belts,
hoses and filters and other items, that you may be interested in
making a note of them. My Perkins has a water cooled exhaust
manifold, so keep this in mind, to see if yours has the same
configuration;

These are the part numbers that you need to replace all the hoses on
your Kohler/Perkins 12.5 KW . All are available from Auto Zone.

2ea. M-248 (1) thermostat housing to exhaust manifold cooler inlet
(1) exhaust manifold cooler outlet to inflow tube to
radiator
1ea M-049 top radiator inlet hose from inflow tube
1ea L-326 bottom radiator outlet hose to outflow tube inlet (this
tube is reduced down in size directly after the hose connection)
1ea L-978 radiator outflow tube outlet to engine block (SEE NOTE)

This is a Cut and Fit project. The Molded hose (L-978) has two
different end diameters, make sure that you use the smaller diameter
end trimmed down to the block side and cut the larger diameter end
off, just before the bend.

John:
Thank you very much. Just what I needed. I had figured out the oil
and fuel filters today at NAPA but the rest of the those numbers are
just what I was looking for. For some reason, the numbers in the
manual for the Kohler in my bluebox are not the correct ones for my
generator. Those switches look familiar also. I'll check when I go to
the storage lot tomorrow to change the oil in the generator.
I noticed there was some weeping on either the low oil pressure shut
off sender or the gauge sender so those numbers will be of immediate
use.

I run Baldwin filters on my Perkins. Next time I am up at the storage place
I can get the part numbers if you wish.

It's an 82 FC. I'll check with NAPA. However, when I purchased the
oil and fuel filters from NAPA based on the part numbers in the
Bluebox, they were incorrect, so I was hoping to find a Kohler/Perkins
expert.
