Rear Monitor and Camera dead
My rear camera and monitor are now dead, seems no power, have to start
to trouble shoot tonight, any hints before I get too far with it??
Monitor is a B/W Sony that is not original, was removed from the case
and dropped in the dash UGLY WIRING. Don't know what the camera is
yet.

BTW I finished the install of an SMI Silent Partner braking system
last night. Other than having to deal with moving the coach antenna
and transmitter to the rear of the coach that is a slick system!!

If you are considering a complete replacement I recommend you check out
http://www.rvcams.com Great service and prices. I put one of their systems in about
a year ago and posted the results. You can complete the job using the
existing coax cable or fish the S cable through the AC duct work. I have
pics of the install if you want them.

Rob

Please send pictures. I am at a dead-end though; there is no power
anyplace in the camera or monitor system. There is a large heat
sink under the dash that appears to have a capacitor that feeds some
part of the system but I am having a hard time getting at it to see
what its purpose is.
